How Can We Help?
CONTENT AUTHORING
Teachers and up can create their contents, like modules and lessons in SPLAT (web). Depending on the preference of the content creator, these can be shared school, division, region or on nationwide. The content creator may also choose to use the content for his/her own classes only. These contents will undergo certain levels of QA process, depending on the level of visibility.
A SPLAT module is composed of the following:
- Series – a quarter’s worth of contents
- Topic – more or less, a week’s worth of contents; a chapter
- Assessment – chapter pre-test
- Part – a day’s worth of content; a lesson
- Page – individual pages of the lesson itself
- Mentor Page – pages accessible by mentor accounts e.g. parents or guardians; designed for providing special instructions to young learners’ mentors
- Learner Page – pages accessible by learner accounts; actual contents for learners
- Knowledge Check – individual, in-lesson, formative questions; recitation questions; with real-time feedback (learner’s will know if they answered correctly)
- Page – individual pages of the lesson itself
- Worksheet – in-lesson non-graded activities; with real-time feedback (learner’s will know if they answered correctly)
- Part – a day’s worth of content; a lesson
- Quiz – chapter post-test; graded exam
